LOST: More Than About Getting Lost

lost-scr.jpg
I thought it was just about getting lost. Now it seems that there is more to the TV series “LOST” than just an exciting TV ride. The “more” is suggested by the TimeLoopTheory website which is dedicated to exploring the theory as applied in the story of Oceanic 815 survivors stranded on a mysterious island in the Pacific.

The author of TimeLoopTheory writes this about LOST:[Read More…]

Sally Kirkland

When I saw this YouTube video, I recognized the old lady as one of those good-looking characters in an old TV program. She is what one would call “hot.” Her name is Sally Kirkland. And guess what I learned about her: apart from the fact that she fought Hollywood to recognize grandmas as also sexy, she is also a pastor. If you watch her in this video, who would think she is a gospel preacher? [Read More…]

Dean and Sam Winchester

Sam and Dean are back on AXN-Beyond, but it seems to be a rerun of last season, not a new one. The demons released from the Demon Gate have invaded the United States and the Winchester brothers will be hunting them down. The main plot however will be how big brother Winchester (Dean) will be coping with the deal he made with the Crossroads devil so that Sam can live. He only has one year to live and Sam will also be thinking of ways to save his brother. During this season too, the demons will be revealing a bit of who Sam is. Some will be calling him “the Prince” although Sam will be doing his best not to become the main cog in the Devil’s takeover plans. There will be interesting new characters in this season: one is Sam’s guardian demon and the other is a thief, whose name I forget. She actually would be causing a lot of problems for the brothers.

Hot Editor!

I have just uploaded into this server a WYSIWYG editor that would help me format my posts here in BBCode. It is the same as the one found at EMaxCard although I downloaded it from a free download site. It is called “Hoteditor.” The feature I like about it is that it gives me the opportunity of using nice smileys for my post. 21.gif
There are other software that can be used simply for posting BBCode-formatted content on a blog. There is of course the BBCode Studio from TamerNet. The other one is FASS (Forum Assistant) from Pawsoft. Both of these are desktop applications and therefore one can compose and save one’s post while offline. There are other utilities — web-based — that convert HTML to BBCode. These would be useful for those who prepare their posts in HTML (but if you could already do that, why still bother with BBCode, right?). The site I often use for doing this is the one at OdditySoftware. Another one is found at this site.

Welcome to my Blog

Welcome to Dittalinaggii!

I still haven’t thought up a nice title for this blog, but the present one will do. The sub-title says it all I guess. I am not a software programmer, nor am I a web developer, just an aspiring writer who needs to work on his ability to describe life, and that in a language that readers would like to remember and roll their tongues on.
